Being a marketer in 2026 isn’t easy.
There are hundreds of channels to navigate, constantly evolving tech stacks, fragmented brand experiences and rising customer expectations. All while marketing teams are being asked to do more, defend their budgets and prove ROI.
And there’s another problem we’ve seen time and time again: the gap between strategy and actually making it happen.
Senior marketers aren’t short of strategies or big ideas. But turning those ideas into a clear, actionable plan that can be delivered consistently across multiple channels and teams? That’s often where things start to get complicated.
And it’s exactly why Ginger Fury exists.
From big ideas to practical action
Before setting up Ginger Fury, our founder Jay Dickinson spent ten years working in client-side marketing roles, followed by another seven years in agency planning and strategy, latterly as Planning Director at IMA Global.
Seeing both sides of the fence highlighted a familiar problem.
Agency partners can deliver brilliant strategies and big ideas, but not always the practical plan needed to bring them to life. The same can happen with marketing technology and customer data: businesses invest heavily in platforms and collect mountains of useful information, but teams are left wondering how to actually put it all to work.
That gap between the strategic promise and operational reality can be overwhelming, expensive and, frankly, pretty infuriating.
And as budgets get tighter and boards demand quicker, more visible returns from marketing investment, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
That’s where Ginger Fury comes in
We set up Ginger Fury to bridge that gap.
We help marketing teams simplify the complexity, identify the strategic battles that really matter and build clear, actionable plans to get things moving.
Because without a plan to activate it, a piece of strategic thinking is really just an expensive daydream.
The same goes for that shiny new tech stack or all that lovely customer data. The investment only starts delivering value when you know what you’re going to do with it.
Since launch, we’ve already had the opportunity to work with nine brilliant brands, with plenty more exciting projects in the pipeline.
It feels like we’re only just getting started.
As the pressure to justify marketing budgets continues, we think the ability to turn strategy into action is only going to become more important.
Less strategy gathering dust. More clarity about what matters. And practical plans that actually get things moving
